A headshot session typically takes about an hour, although I never want you to feel rushed. We’ll take some time at the beginning to look at the clothing you’ve brought and create a plan for your session. There’s plenty of time to photograph you in three different looks, with guidance throughout so you never have to wonder what to do in front of the camera.

Headshot sessions start at $750 and include three professionally retouched digital images. After your session, you’ll choose your favorite images from your gallery. You’re always welcome to purchase additional images if you’d like a larger collection—and most clients do.

Most headshot sessions take place at my studio in the Eastworks building in Easthampton, Massachusetts. The studio gives us the flexibility to create a variety of looks, including images inside the studio, throughout the building, and outdoors.

If you prefer, I can also photograph your headshots at your workplace or another location.

Absolutely. I regularly photograph people on location and can create professional headshots at your workplace. This can be especially convenient for teams or companies that want consistent headshots without having employees travel to the studio.

For larger groups, I also offer corporate headshot days designed to make the process efficient and easy for your team.

In most cases, yes. If you need a headshot that matches the style, lighting, or background of existing images on your company's website, send me the website or a few examples of the current headshots. I can take a look and let you know how closely we can match them before your session.

You can, but there’s a big difference between a photo of yourself and a professional portrait. A great headshot isn't just about looking polished, it’s about creating an image that communicates confidence, approachability, and who you are. I guide you through the lighting, posing, expression, and everything else so you don't have to figure it out yourself.

Wear clothes that make you feel good and that you would actually wear to work. Choose pieces that fit you well, are clean and wrinkle-free, and feel like you.
And bring more options than you think you’ll need—bring a suitcase if you want! We’ll look through everything together and decide what works best for your session. I’ll also guide you on clothing throughout the shoot.
Don’t be afraid of pattern, color, or jewelry if those are part of your everyday style. Your headshot should look like you and how you show up in this part of your life. You don’t want a disconnect between the person someone sees in your photograph and the person who walks through the door.
Whenever possible, choose pieces that aren't overly seasonal so your headshot stays useful year-round.

Bring lots! I recommend bringing at least three outfits, but having more options is always better than not having enough.
We’ll look at everything together and choose the pieces that photograph well and best represent you. You don't have to figure it all out before you arrive.

After your session, we'll meet over Zoom to review your images together. I find it incredibly helpful to talk through the selection process with you rather than simply handing you a gallery and asking you to decide on your own.

There will likely be many images you love, but the best image isn't always the one you like most at first glance. We'll consider what you want the photograph to communicate, where you'll be using it, and which images feel most like you.
