Have you ever wondered what to wear to a Goddess Session?
If you’re preparing for a Goddess photography session, you don’t need to buy a special outfit or have everything figured out before you arrive. A good bra, comfortable leggings, and a few personal items are all you really need. I have a collection of beautiful clothing, jewelry, and accessories to explore at my studio in Easthampton, Massachusetts. Think of it as grown-up dress-up. This is a fun experience and time set aside just for you.
What Should You Bring to a Goddess Photography Session?
The most important things to bring are comfortable clothing, well-fitting undergarments, and an open mind. I recommend bringing leggings, a black tank top, and a good bra or two that make you feel comfortable and supported. If you wear makeup, bring your makeup bag along in case you want to touch up during the session. Beyond that, you really don't need to bring anything else unless you want to.
Explore the Clothing and Jewelry in My Photography Studio
One of my favorite parts of a Goddess Session is playing with different looks and discovering what makes each woman feel beautiful. I keep a collection of clothing and accessories specifically for these sessions, including white, nude, and black satin camisoles, black and white lace kimonos, a gold kaftan dress, bold brass bangles and necklaces, and beautiful headpieces. We can layer a camisole under a sheer kimono, add a scarf, or keep things simple with just a few pieces of jewelry. These items have been chosen with comfort and femininity in mind, with flowing fabrics and delicate textures that complement you rather than compete with you.

Choosing Clothing That Helps You Feel Comfortable in Your Body
I know that many women feel self-conscious about certain parts of their bodies, especially as we get older. Our arms, our stomachs, changes in our skin, and the ways our bodies have changed over the years can sometimes make it difficult to feel comfortable in front of a camera. That's one reason I chose the clothing in my studio so carefully. The sheer lace kimonos, for example, gently cover the arms while allowing glimpses of skin through the lace. They create a beautiful, feminine look without requiring you to reveal more than you want to. The goal isn't to hide who you are or change your body. It's to help you feel comfortable enough to relax, express yourself, and see your own beauty in a new way.
Can You Bring Personal Items or Meaningful Accessories?
Absolutely! While you are welcome to use the clothing and jewelry I have at the studio, you are also encouraged to bring anything that feels meaningful to you. Perhaps you have a favorite necklace, a beautiful scarf, a piece of jewelry passed down through your family, or an object that represents an important part of your life. Sometimes these personal touches add another layer of meaning to your portraits. You might also bring a few different bras or undergarments so we can choose what works best with each look. We will decide together what feels right for you, and there is never any pressure to wear something that doesn't feel like you.

What Happens During a Goddess Session?
A Goddess Session is about so much more than choosing an outfit and taking photographs. It's an opportunity to slow down, spend some time with yourself, and explore how you want to be seen. We'll play with different clothing and accessories, try different poses, and create images that reflect your personality, strength, softness, and individuality. Music is also a big part of the experience. I've created a playlist filled with songs that seem to inspire women to move, let go, and get back into their bodies. There's just something about Stevie Nicks that seems to resonate with women, don't you think?
I'd also love for you to bring music that inspires you. We all have those songs that make us feel something. Maybe it's the song that pushes you to run a little faster, the one that makes you want to scream the lyrics at the top of your lungs, or the one that makes you want to dance, cry, or feel sexy. Think about your getting-ready-for-a-night-out playlist, the songs that make you feel powerful, or the ones that bring out a side of you that doesn't always get to shine. I want to explore those different emotions with you and capture more than just what you look like. I want to capture how you feel.
