You’ll learn how to transform discarded book pages into beautiful paper flowers using the Kusudama technique. No prior experience needed.
This isn’t just a class, it’s a chance to take a break from the usual pace, make something with your hands, and enjoy a night out with your community. Come solo or bring a friend, and enjoy light snacks and conversation throughout the evening.
All materials are provided, and you’ll leave with your own handmade bouquet of paper flowers to keep or gift. You’re also welcome to bring your own paper and/or small decorative items to personalize your flowers. Buttons, shells, beads, or bottle caps all work beautifully.

Join us for the prequel to The (M) Factor film that catapulted the conversation around menopause to a new level of visibility! This is an opportunity to gather and share our own perimenopause perspectives in a discussion after the film, led by a panel of menopause specialists.
BEFORE THE PAUSE reveals the hidden reality of perimenopause through the voices of women whose lives are disrupted and dismissed. A teacher is told her symptoms are “all in her head” even as she struggles at home and in the classroom. A firefighter navigates heavy periods with no women’s bathroom in sight. Doctors themselves admit they lack the knowledge to adequately help the patients sitting in front of them. By centering these stories alongside leading experts, the film exposes a systemic blind spot and makes a powerful case for why early awareness can transform women’s health, careers, and sense of self.
